Using discretion and independent judgment the COTA delivers care to age-appropriate services for adult geriatric patients, including the following: cognition, functional mobility, self-care, motor control. and musculoskeletal disorders as a result of acquired or developmental disabilities. QualificationsFormal Education: Associate Degree or certification equivalent License, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement: Yes Education RequirementsGraduate, with a minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant and successful completion of the National Registry exam.Recent graduates who have applied for the registration exam may be considered for provisional appointment. License RequirementsCPR Certification.Current license in Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in state of employment. License DesiredMembership or certification in national association, as applicable.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
